Ammonia (NH4)

s::can Ammo::lyser ulilieses the latest technology for measurement of ammonia ion. It also measures potassium, pH and temperature to allow a fully compensated ammonium measurement for influent, aeration tank and final effluent applications.

Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD)

The revolutionary s::can spectro::lyser provides accurate BOD data for the most waste types via correlations between uv/vis spectra and lab BOD values. It is a multi parameter submersible UV/Vis spectrophotometer. This unique technology allows you to measure numerous parameters all at the same time that usually require the use of several different cabinet analysers. Parameter concentrations from g/l down to the µg/l region are calculated from the complete UV/Visible spectrum, enabling a level of precision and long term stability that has not been possible until now. The s::can spectro::lyser can be operated in the internal data-logger mode, via PC/laptop, or via our industrial terminal "con::stat".

The number of concurrently available parameters is relatively unrestricted and pre set "global "calibrations for many applications are readily available.

All of the functions of a high quality 2-beam laboratory spectrometer are packed into the ultra-compact and robust field instrument. s::can's advanced software options allow the utilisation of the spectral information for rapid and effective investigative work on almost any liquid stream from dirty industrial to ulrtrapure water.

Conductivity

The ZULLIG conductivity probe is a dual coil torroidal insertion style sensor with a flow through liquid path. It is available in a wide range of measuring ranges for ultra clean water to highly conductive fluids.

Automated Coagulant Dosing for Phosphorous Removal

Com::pass in conjunction with an s::can spectro::lyser accurately and continuously measures the coagulant demand exerted by the other constituents in the wastewater and uses either the output of an existing ortho P analyser or a surrogate parameter for ortho P from the s::can UV-Vis unit to calculate the needed coagulant. The Metal Ionadded:Premoved for a given site can then be accurately controlled.

Com::pass CPR is an online coagulant dose controller. It will

automatically control the coagulant dose to achieve effluent phosphate limits by providing a predicted coagulant mass dose output (mg/L) to the plant control system. This needs to be converted to a volumetric dose using the plant flow. The coagulant dose pumps are then controlled to deliver the required volumetric coagulant dose. Alternatively a flow signal can be taken directly into the s::can controller and the dosing system can be controlled directly by the com::pass package.

Dissolved Oxygen (D.O.)

s::can oxi::lyser utilizes the latest technology for measurement of Dissolved Oxygen and temperature. The oxi::lyser is an optical multi-parameter probe that measures directly in the water. It does not need a minimum flow to produce accurate readings and integrates the temperature measurement for On-Line correction. Minimal conventional calibration and virtually zero maintenance.

Total Organic Carbon (TOC)

The s::can spectro::lyser is a high quality dual bean full spectrum spectrometer. It determines TOC by measuring the absorptions caused by organic compounds in the uv/vis spectrum and mathematically links them to the lab TOC.
